VENO S.A. is a company making private equity investments with a special focus on venture capital investments. VENO is particularly interested in investments to be supported at the seed and start-up stage, demonstrating high potential growth. A standard strategy employed by VENO to exit the investment is by going public as well as sale of shares held to industry investors following agreement with the management, or assistance in arranging a management buyout (MBO). VENO invests in industries and companies with high potential rate of return. We are especially keen on investing in innovation enterprises in such sectors as: environmental protection, ecology, IT, motor, Internet trade and biotechnology. Also, VENO supports selected projects within Operational Programme (PO IG) 8.1 which need financing or contents partners to boost raising further capital.
VENO invests in companies managed in a professional manner or ideas developed by experts from a certain industry. The strategy pursued by VENO is premised on the assumption that a total involvement in projects supported does not exceed 50% stake in the equity capital. VENO shores up certain projects and keeps consulting at the strategic level, without however intervening in current management of companies.
Over the coming months we are set to implement a microfund intended to support projects that require amounts ranging from a few up to several thousands zlotys. We deeply believe in potentials of Polish entrepreneurs and we know that the initial funding, frequently at the level of few thousand zlotys, is definitely the hardest to obtain.
VENO’s portfolio includes the companies providing both the products (Arrinera Automotive) as well as services (Motoricus). The Company successfully completed investments in innovative projects such as: Venture Capital Poland, or Carbon Invest.
VENO cooperates with entities and experts having extensive knowledge on private equity. Based on that, VENO was afforded an opportunity to invest in remarkable private equity funds, specializing in selected industries (at present BLUE ONE – biotechnological industry).
VENO cooperates with a group of individual and institutional investors on a permanent basis, and therefore it may support selected offers of issue of securities. A list of financial partners is continually extended which thus provides a comfortable situation of collaboration with a variety of investors and in some cases enables to assist certain projects by them.
Due to such solutions it is possible to flexibly align the investment level with the requirements and needs of the project selected.
